Keeping Columbus Teens Safe & You Can Help
January 13, 2021
Amanda Montgomery

For the month of January, we will be featuring a shelter, organization, or program that could benefit from awareness and/or donations

This week, we are highlighting the Huckleberry House located at 1421 Hamlet St Columbus, OH 43201.

For 50 years, Huckleberry House has been the primary safe space for runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth in Franklin County. Their goal is to support young people and families struggling with tough situations like homelessness, substance abuse, poverty, and violence. They have a variety of programs to help families and teens take control of their lives and move towards the future they want.

Huckleberry House also has a 24/7 Crisis Shelter for teens needing a safe space to stay, a Crisis Hotline, and text options to keep teens across the city as safe as possible.

There are a variety of ways you can help Huckleberry House. Here are two easy ways to help in your daily/weekly shopping.
