Job Opening - Localo Scout (Part or Full Time Sales)

Location: Anywhere in the world

The mission of a Localo Scout is to establish a strong Localo presence in a given destination by finding hosts and accommodations and helping list their properties with us. Hosts pay us a commission for every booking they get from us. You get a share of each booking, plus a commission on all the bookings for the area that you are responsible for. Responsibilities

• Conduct market research in your area for potential hosts and accommodations
• Contact new hosts and accommodations and get them to list their property in Localo
• Take pictures of the accommodations, if required
• Teach existing hosts and their personnel how to maximise their Localo revenue
• Optionally, develop partnerships with local lodging agencies, tourism organisations, and property management companies, offering them private labels, free booking platforms, and referral commissions

• Training
• Marketing materials (business cards, t-shirts, stickers, etc.)
• Technical support when the partnerships you develop involve private labels or booking platforms
• Online marketing for attracting travellers to your destination, including search engine optimisation and pay-per-click

Compensation and Benefits

Long lasting commission-based compensation

Earn 5% of all bookings for three years for the accommodations your recruit, even if you stop working with us

Earn 1% of all bookings in your designated area

• Available to work 2 or more hours per day
• Excellent communication skills

While not required, knowledge in these areas is considered highly relevant:

• Previous work experience in sales
• Experience as a lodging agent
• Experience in the lodging industry
• E-commerce expertise
• Passionate user of Localo
